Members of various student organisations of Delhi University (DU) on Tuesday protested in the university campus against the rape and murder of a female doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Raising slogans demanding strict measures for the safety of women, the students marched outside the Arts Faculty and demanded justice for the victim.
The students, led by the All India Students’ Association (AISA) and the Krantikari Yuva Sangthan (KYS), carried posters and banners with slogans such as “India must unite for women’s safety” and “End patriarchy”.
